Our corporate WordPress site needs a fresh, professional face and a smarter way for my team to manage content without touching code.
First, the homepage: please re-work the header and navigation, main content area, and footer so they line up with a clean, corporate-and-professional aesthetic while remaining fully responsive. I want every element—from typography to spacing—to feel consistent and trustworthy on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Next, the reusable templates. I need a set of drag-free, code-free building blocks—powered by Customizable Content Blocks—that my non-technical team can duplicate and edit in the native WordPress editor (or a reputable page-builder if it offers the same no-code flexibility). Each template must inherit the same responsive rules you establish on the homepage.
Deliverables
• Redesigned homepage (header, body, footer) implemented on our live staging site
• Reusable page templates:
– Product / Service page
– About Us
– Blog listing & single-post layout
– Case Study detail page
• All templates built with easily editable content blocks, no custom PHP required
• Documentation (short Loom video or PDF) showing my team how to duplicate and edit each template
Acceptance Criteria
• Templates pass Google Mobile-Friendly Test and load without layout shifts
• All text, images, and CTAs can be changed by an Editor-role user without developer help
Editable content: Our team must be able to change headings, copy, images, buttons, FAQs, testimonials, cards, pricing, links etc.
• Reusable sections: Hero banners, feature cards, carousels, CTAs, FAQs, testimonial sections, comparison sections and other blocks should ideally be reusable across pages.
• Design direction: Classic/timeless, professional and trustworthy. Designed primarily for UK education professionals, including headteachers, SLT, SENCOs, assessment leads and MAT leaders.
• Brand: Must follow the existing iTRACK Education brand identity, including logo, colours, typography and overall feel, but you're open to improving how these are applied digitally.
• Responsive design: Desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Accessibility: Designed with accessibility in mind and ideally WCAG 2.2 AA.
• SEO: Proper heading hierarchy, editable metadata where appropriate, internal linking, schema-friendly structure, good Core Web Vitals/page speed and no design elements that make content difficult for search engines to understand.
• AI/search: Content needs to remain crawlable as normal HTML rather than important information being buried in images or unnecessarily complicated interactive elements.
• Performance: Avoid bloated plugins/builders and unnecessarily large animations.
• Navigation: Existing site navigation and footer should be incorporated/updated consistently.
• Forms/CTAs: Clearly designed routes to Book a Demo, enquire, purchase/find out more etc.
• Handover: Documentation or a short recorded training session showing your team how to create/edit pages.
• Ownership: iTRACK should own the templates/design work and should not require an ongoing licence to the designer themselves to keep using them.
• Staging: Work should be completed/tested on staging before being pushed to the live website.
Once the new homepage and templates are signed off, I’ll migrate everything to production. I’m happy to answer any technical questions or provide brand assets as soon as we start.
