We are building GoalOasis, a mentorship community for gamers, on WordPress. We need an experienced WordPress configurator who knows the WPManageNinja (Fluent) plugin suite deeply and can assemble a fully functional mentorship and booking platform — cleanly, quickly, and in a way a non-technical team can operate afterward.
This is a configuration job, not a development job. You will not be building custom plugins. You may write occasional small PHP snippets (shortcodes, conditional redirects, role checks), but the entire build runs on native Fluent tools assembled correctly.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with FluentCommunity, FluentBooking Pro, Fluent Forms Pro, FluentCRM, and FluentSMTP
- FluentCommunity: spaces, roles, permissions, onboarding flows, member directories
- FluentBooking Pro: multi-host setups, scoped host permissions, availability management, Stripe payments, calendar sync
- Fluent Forms Pro: conditional logic, multi-step forms, notifications, integration feeds
- FluentCRM: tag-based segmentation, automations, sequences, and triggers
- Comfortable writing small PHP snippets safely using a code-snippets plugin
- Solid HTML/CSS for layout and styling adjustments on top of plugin UIs
- Staging-first discipline, backups before changes, clear written communication
Deliverables:
- FluentCommunity setup: spaces, feeds, member profiles, mentor directory (filterable by game and skill), role-based permissions, onboarding flow, and preservation of existing 18+ age-confirmation gate
- FluentBooking Pro: each mentor configured as an independent host managing their own calendar, availability, and payments via a frontend-only panel — no wp-admin access required
- Stripe payment flows with confirmations, reminders, reschedule and cancellation handling, and a member-facing "My Sessions" page
- Negotiation-to-contract flow using Fluent Forms and FluentCRM: coaching request form, terms-confirmation form, CRM sequence triggering booking at the agreed price
- Lifecycle email automations via FluentCRM and FluentSMTP covering signup, request, terms, booking, completion, and follow-up stages
- Handover runbook (written) covering how to add a mentor, process a deal, and troubleshoot common issues — Loom walkthroughs welcome
Work arrangement: This is a milestone-based contract beginning with a paid 2–3 hour performance task. Ongoing work is async-first with regular video check-ins 2–3 times per week. Tools used include Mattermost, Notion, Figma, and Google Docs.
