WordPress Corporate Site Redesign

I need our current website for an offshore engineering and marine consultancy company completely refreshed. Domain and hosting are already in place; what I’m missing is a polished, professional look that reflects the calibre of our technical services.

The brief is straightforward: elevate the visual design while keeping the structure familiar to returning visitors. A professional, corporate aesthetic is non-negotiable, but I still want the pages to feel inviting and easy to read. That means cleaner typography, a well-balanced colour palette that fits the maritime sector, and consistent iconography or imagery that speaks to engineering expertise.

Content remains largely the same, yet readability and accessibility must improve. Headlines should stand out, body text must be scannable, and every element—from navigation to call-to-action buttons—needs to meet modern accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1 AA). Page templates should load quickly on both desktop and mobile, and the finished theme must be fully responsive without relying on bloated plugins.

Deliverables
• A custom or heavily tailored WordPress theme implementing the new design
• Migration of existing and new content into the redesigned layout
• Accessibility and performance checks (Lighthouse score 90+ on mobile)
• A short hand-off video or document showing me how to update pages and maintain design consistency
