I have a collection of scanned pages (sent as PDFs and JPGs) that I need re-typed into clean, editable Word documents. The task is straightforward: capture the plain text only. No tables, images, or layout recreation is required—just accurate text, kept in the same reading order as the original scans.

Here’s the workflow I have in mind:

• Open each scan, type its contents into Microsoft Word.
• Keep simple paragraph breaks where they naturally appear; ignore any decorative formatting.
• Run a quick spell-check so the files are ready for me to review immediately.
• Save each Word file with the same base name as its source scan.

I’ll provide all scans in a single folder along with a naming convention guide. Turnaround and accuracy matter more to me than elaborate formatting, so feel free to use any reliable typing or OCR aid as long as the final text is checked by eye.
