Wooden House Scale Model

I’m commissioning a wooden scale model of a single-family house and I’ll need you to guide the entire process—from refining the floor plan to crafting the finished miniature. Because I don’t yet have formal blueprints, the assignment begins with collaborative design sessions where we translate my ideas into a clear set of architectural drawings (CAD or SketchUp are fine). Once the plan is approved, you’ll fabricate a precise wood model that showcases both the exterior architecture and a fully detailed interior.

Accuracy matters: walls, windows, doors, roof structure, staircases, and room divisions must follow the approved drawings exactly, and interior elements should be viewable by lifting a roof panel or through another clever cut-away solution. Subtle finishes such as façade textures, trim, and scaled furnishings are encouraged so the model tells the complete story of the space.

Deliverables
• Digital design package: floor plans, elevations, and any 3D source files
• High-resolution progress photos for each key stage of the build
• Finished wooden scale model (securely packed and shipped to me)

The project is complete when the physical model matches the final drawings within agreed tolerances and arrives undamaged. If you’re comfortable moving from concept design right through to a museum-quality wooden miniature, I’m ready to get started.
