WooCommerce-to-WhatsApp Order Updates

I want every relevant change in a WooCommerce order to trigger a WhatsApp message to the customer—no manual clicks from my team. The flow is simple:

• When an order is placed, the buyer receives an order-confirmation template.
• As the status moves to processing, shipped, out-for-delivery, delivered, or any of our refund / cancellation states, the customer receives the matching update automatically.

Because I chose “Automatically after each order status change,” there should be no approval queue; the system must decide which pre-approved WhatsApp Business template to fire based on the new status. You may leverage the official WhatsApp Business API, Twilio, WATI, or a similar gateway as long as it keeps us compliant and lets us reuse template IDs.

Deliverables
1. A plugin or snippet installed on my WordPress site that listens for WooCommerce status hooks and calls the WhatsApp API.
2. Mapping document (or settings screen) showing which WooCommerce statuses map to which WhatsApp templates.
3. Quick guide on adding or changing templates in the future.

Acceptance Criteria
• Messages for order confirmation, shipping/delivery, and payment/cancellation/refund fire within 30 seconds of the status change.
• Logs in WordPress confirm each message ID and delivery response.
• No duplicate or missed notifications during typical order-volume tests (you may use WooCommerce’s built-in order generator for proof).
