The goal is to launch a sleek WooCommerce-based storefront dedicated to sunglasses, complete with an immersive virtual try-on experience and a post-checkout prescription service.
Virtual Try-On
• Must work in real time with face-tracking, let shoppers upload a photo if they prefer, and allow full 3-D rotation of each frame. WebGL / Three.js or a similar library is fine as long as it performs smoothly on desktop and mobile browsers.
• Product pages should load the 3-D model instantly and keep page speed high enough to score well on Google’s Core Web Vitals.
3-D Product Assets
Every frame needs a clean, lightweight GLB/GLTF file plus transparent PNGs for fallback. I will supply photographs; you handle model creation or optimization so the models align perfectly with the virtual try-on overlay.
Checkout & Prescription Upsell
After payment, the customer may click “Need prescription lenses?” to trigger a mock search:
1. Collect their prescription values and desired price range.
2. Query a simple database or API you set up to return the three lowest quotes from local optometrists (dummy data first; I will replace later).
3. Auto-generate a WhatsApp deep-link and a pre-filled email draft addressed to the chosen provider so the shopper can request the quote in one tap.
Admin Side
• All logic must sit in a custom WooCommerce plugin or child-theme so updates don’t break anything.
• Settings page where I can change optometrist data, email script, WhatsApp template, and the upsell wording without touching code.
Deliverables
1. Fully configured WooCommerce store with theme matching brand colors.
2. Virtual try-on module (real-time, photo upload, 3-D rotation).
3. 3-D models integrated on every product page.
4. Prescription upsell workflow with WhatsApp/email link generation.
5. Documentation: install steps, model specs, and how to update database/API.
6 Each frame must state colour of frames and availability of that stock in store
The build should be ready to demo on my staging server within four weeks and migrate to production after final tweaks.
