Women portable urinary device used during trekking and other outdoor activities

I have developed an early prototype of a compact, women-specific portable urinary device for trekking and now need solid market validation before taking it any further. My single biggest question is simple: will women actually buy this product?

Target segment
The research must zero-in on women who take multi-day hiking trips, as they are the most likely early adopters and will give the clearest purchase-intent signals.

Scope of work
I’d like you to design and run a lean but reliable validation study—surveys, interviews, small focus groups or a mix—so long as the method produces statistically and qualitatively meaningful insights about purchase intent. Please recruit respondents from the stated segment, capture both quantitative metrics (e.g., likelihood to buy, acceptable price window) and qualitative feedback on the three feature areas above, then analyse and interpret the data.

Deliverables
• Research plan outlining method, sample size and timeline
• Raw data set (survey results, interview transcripts, etc.)
• Insight report highlighting:
– Percentage expressing firm purchase intent
– Ranked importance of comfort/fit, weight/packability, and disposal flexibility and usage protection
– Recommended next steps to improve buy-in
• Brief presentation deck (5–7 slides) summarising findings for investors
