I need a Windows desktop application that streamlines the entire sales cycle for my service-based business. Its core purpose is business productivity: recording each service sale, tracking its status, and giving me a clear picture of revenue in real time.
Key workflow
• Enter a new client or select an existing one.
• Add the service sold, agreed price, delivery date, and payment terms.
• Update progress notes and mark jobs as completed or invoiced.
• Generate simple reports (daily, weekly, monthly) showing total sales, outstanding balances, and top-selling services.
Essential requirements
• Runs on current Windows versions without additional installs.
• Clean, intuitive UI built with any stable framework you prefer (WinForms, WPF, Electron, etc.) as long as it launches quickly and feels lightweight.
• Local data storage is fine—SQLite or another embedded option works—provided it can be easily backed up or exported to CSV.
• Source code delivered, well commented, so future tweaks are straightforward.
Acceptance criteria
1. I can install the app, enter a sale, edit it, and see the change reflected in a summary report without errors.
2. Reports export successfully to both PDF and CSV.
3. Application launches in under five seconds on a standard office PC.
