I need a small, self-contained desktop application that runs natively on Windows and keeps the full fee history for every Class 11 student in one place. The core job is straightforward: enter each payment once and instantly see what has been paid, what is still outstanding, and a running total for the class.
The workflow I have in mind
• Add or edit a student record (name, roll number, contact details).
• Record each fee collected with date, amount, payment mode, and optional notes.
• Auto-calculate remaining balance per student and an overall collection summary.
• Quick search and filter so I can pull up any student’s status on demand.
• One-click export or print of a term-end summary report.
I do not need online connectivity or automatic reminders at this stage; a clean offline Windows executable is perfect. A simple, intuitive interface matters more to me than flashy visuals, and I would like the database (SQLite, local file, or similar) to sit in the same directory so I can back it up easily.
Deliverables
1. Compiled Windows installer or portable .exe
2. Full source code with clear comments
3. A brief user guide (PDF or text) showing how to add students, log payments, and generate the summary report
I will test by installing on a standard Windows 10 machine and verifying that I can create a new class database, enter five sample students, log several payments, and export a report without errors.
