Private Windows Puzzle-Game Automation Tool — Development Brief
I’m commissioning a fully private automation tool for a Windows-based multiplayer puzzle game. I can provide the developer with the required game client and any additional information needed during development.
The specific feature I’m targeting is the game’s competitive swordfighting-style puzzle board. Gameplay involves making moves on a falling-piece board, creating combinations, and responding to an opponent while monitoring the upcoming drop queue.
Core Functionality
The tool should include three primary capabilities:
Automatic move execution based on the current board state.
Real-time decision making that evaluates the opponent’s actions and adapts its strategy accordingly.
Pattern recognition capable of analyzing the current board and upcoming drop queue to determine appropriate moves.
The system should continuously evaluate the game state and make decisions with minimal unnecessary delay.
Natural Interaction
The tool should interact with the game through normal Windows input and display interfaces wherever practical.
Gameplay timing and interaction should avoid unnecessarily rigid or perfectly repetitive behavior. The goal is to create a reliable automation system that operates smoothly during extended sessions rather than producing erratic or technically fragile input.
Development Approach
The developer will need to install and analyze the supplied game client and determine the most reliable method for obtaining the information required by the decision-making system.
The implementation should be developed specifically for this project rather than simply repackaging an existing public script.
The developer may choose whichever technology stack is most appropriate, including:
Python with OpenCV/PyAutoGUI
C++
C# / .NET
Another suitable Windows-compatible stack
Please include a brief explanation of the proposed architecture, how the board state will be detected, how the drop queue will be interpreted, and how moves will be selected and executed.
Deliverables
I expect:
A compiled Windows executable.
A configuration panel for relevant gameplay settings.
Clear installation and configuration instructions.
A list of required libraries, runtimes, or drivers.
A short on-screen recording demonstrating the tool operating during live matches. The recording should show the actual game window and the tool functioning rather than being a promotional presentation.
Source code and reproducible build instructions, or another mutually agreed maintenance arrangement that allows the software to be updated when the game changes.
Testing & Acceptance
I’ll test the software across multiple accounts and in both ranked and unrated environments where permitted by the game's rules.
The initial acceptance test will consist of five consecutive matches without crashes, disconnects, or other technical failures.
Additional testing criteria can be agreed upon before development begins.
Potential Additional Features
Please also let me know which of the following could be incorporated:
Adaptive opening strategies
Anti-stall logic
Opponent-specific strategy adaptation
Advanced board and drop-queue analysis
Match statistics
Performance tracking
A teaching/analysis overlay
Replay or post-match analysis
Configurable difficulty and decision-making profiles
Please provide your proposed development milestones, expected timeline, and what will be delivered at each stage.
