I’ve brought a patented electronic hearing protector to market that powers on the moment it’s worn and shuts off as soon as it’s removed—no switches, no dead batteries. The product is already moving on Amazon and through one of the largest online retailers, yet most of those sales are still one-unit consumer orders. It’s time to scale.
My priority is penetrating the North American B2B channel, beginning with sporting goods and safety equipment suppliers who already serve industrial, shooting-sports and construction accounts. I’m looking for someone who has a proven record of opening distributor, wholesale or retail doors.
What you’ll tackle:
• Identify and qualify safety-focused distributors that are a fit for electronic hearing protection.
• Contact the right people at these companies via phone and email.
• Pitch the auto-on/auto-off advantage clearly.
• Secure meetings with the right people at these companies so I can speak with them to pitch the product and sell.
• Provide weekly updates.
You’ll be free to use the outreach style that works best for you—phone, LinkedIn, or leveraging existing relationships—as long as we see measurable traction. Experience using tools like RocketReach or similar is preferred.
I’m looking for someone independent who can take initiative without needing step-by-step instructions or constant oversight. You should be comfortable drafting emails, sourcing contact details, and managing outreach efficiently without requiring extensive hand-holding.
If you’ve placed products with North American distributors before, let’s talk about how we can make this the new standard in hearing protection on job sites and shooting ranges alike :)
