I am a member of the Stolen Generations and I want to speak directly to university students about my experience of being taken from my mum and later incarcerated in an unsafe institution. My story is raw, confronting and definitely not for children, so I need help shaping it into an engaging, respectful session suitable for a mature tertiary audience.

Here’s what I’m aiming for: a powerful in-person talk that runs roughly 55 minutes, followed by Q&A. I’d like assistance developing the narrative arc, writing a clear script in my own voice, and—if it strengthens the message—creating a simple slide deck with a few historical images and key dates. Trauma-informed language and cultural sensitivity are crucial throughout. I would like the google add to be somehow aimed at the correct classes that are studying Aboriginal studies

Ideal support includes:
• Collaborative scripting that keeps my voice authentic yet structured for academic listeners
• Light coaching on pacing, tone and body language so I feel confident delivering it live
• Optional PowerPoint or Keynote slides (respectful imagery only, nothing graphic)
• A one-page hand-out summarising key points for students and lecturers

If you have experience shaping personal testimonies, especially Indigenous or survivor stories, and you understand how to engage university audiences, I’d love to work together. Please share a brief note on similar projects you’ve supported and how you approach sensitive, adult-only content.
