Whimsical Children’s Book Illustrations

I have written a children’s story and now need it brought to life with a set of whimsical, imaginative illustrations. The look I picture is playful rather than realistic—soft lines, vibrant colours and expressive characters that keep young readers engaged page after page.

Scope
• Full-colour, print-ready illustrations for the entire book (cover and interior pages).
• Consistent visual style, palette and character design from first page to last.
• Final files supplied as high-resolution PNG or TIFF plus layered source files (PSD or Procreate) so adjustments and text layout are easy on my end.

Timeline
I’d like to wrap everything up within a month, so please outline how you will schedule sketches, revisions and final artwork to meet that deadline.

What to include in your bid
Experience counts most here. Share a link or PDF that shows previous children’s work—especially pieces with a whimsical flair. A short note on how you approach character creation and colour storytelling will help me see the fit.

Acceptance
The project is complete when I receive:
1. All approved final illustrations at the agreed resolution.
2. Source files organised and labelled for each page.
3. Written confirmation that I hold full usage and publishing rights.

If your style matches the light-hearted world I’ve imagined, I look forward to collaborating and turning this story into something children will treasure.
