I want to automate my wedding invitations through the WhatsApp Business API.
The flow I have in mind is simple, yet has to feel personal:
• Each guest receives a WhatsApp message— not a PDF or static flyer— but an actual chat message that carries their name, the date, time and venue, plus a sleek, modern image that matches our overall design.
• The message should ask whether they will attend. A quick-reply or any similarly friction-free option that records a Yes / No is ideal.
• A unique QR code must be generated for every confirmed guest. That code will be their digital “ticket” at the entrance and needs to scan reliably on standard readers.
From your side I expect:
1. End-to-end setup of the WhatsApp Business API (green-tick account already in place, you just plug in).
2. Script or micro-service that merges guest data, inserts the modern-style image and event details, then sends the message.
3. Automatic generation and storage of individual QR codes, linked to the guest’s phone number and RSVP status.
4. A lightweight dashboard, spreadsheet sync, or webhook so I can see in real-time who accepted and export that list for the venue.
If you prefer Node.js, Python, or another mainstream stack, mention it— I’m flexible as long as the final deliverable is documented and easy for me to reuse for future events. QR-code library choice is yours; just ensure high-resolution output.
Hand-over is complete when I can:
• Upload a CSV of guests, run the script, and watch messages go out.
• See responses reflected instantly.
• Scan a generated code at the door and match it back to the correct guest record.
