WhatsApp QR Guest Entry System

I need a fast-to-deploy solution that lets me collect event registrations in a Google Sheet, generate a unique QR code for each guest, and push that code automatically to their WhatsApp inbox. During sign-up we must capture the guest’s name, WhatsApp number, guest type, and the number of people they are bringing, then log everything in real time inside the sheet.

The flow I have in mind is simple: a lightweight web form feeds the sheet, a Google Apps Script (or similar) turns each new row into a QR code, and the code is sent out immediately through the WhatsApp Cloud API or another reliable gateway—no manual forwarding. On event day staff simply scan the QR with a phone camera; the check-in time and status update back to the same sheet so I can see live attendance.

Deliverables:
• Google Sheet with integrated form and columns pre-configured for the required fields
• Script or add-on that generates and stores the QR image link
• Automated WhatsApp message dispatch containing the code and basic event details
• Simple check-in script/page that marks guests as arrived when the QR is scanned

Completion means I can test end-to-end: submit a registration, receive the WhatsApp message with the QR, and watch the sheet flip the status to “checked-in” once the code is scanned.
