Our two-day martial arts seminar runs in Leiden on 12 & 13 September, 10:00–17:30 each day, and I want every teaching moment on camera. I need full coverage—roughly six hours per day—with the raw, unedited footage delivered soon after the event.
What I want you to focus on
• Instructor’s corrections are the priority; please keep a steady eye on these moments as they happen.
• The strongest emotional beats come from student excitement, so capture those smiles, nods and light-bulb reactions whenever they surface.
• This seminar doesn’t have much fast movement. Most of the focus will be on alignment and subtle mechanics. Think of something closer to Yoga. Mid- and close-up shots will carry most of the story. Wider angles are fine to keep the context, but intimacy is key.
On-site flow
I’ll give you a brief run-through each morning so you know which drills or demonstrations matter most. During breaks you’ll have time to swap batteries, cards or lenses; if possible, I’d love a few quick, well-lit interviews with participants at lunch or after the last session.
Equipment
Let me know the camera body, lenses, stabilisation and audio kit you plan to bring. Reliable autofocus or manual tracking that can handle fast movement is important, and quiet zooms or primes that let you shift from mid to tight shots without disrupting class are a plus. I can provide a DJI pocket 3 or 4 as an adhoc camera.
Deliverables
1. All original video files (preferred in 4K) with synced in-camera audio.
2. A simple index of file names and timelines so I can locate key corrections and reactions quickly.
If you’re available for both dates and comfortable working in an active training hall, send over your gear list, a link to relevant work—especially anything showing dynamic movement—and your estimate for turnaround time on the raw files.
