I publish new episodes every single week on my growing YouTube channel and I’m looking for a dependable editor who can take my raw talking-head footage, screen recordings and assorted clips and turn them into tight, entertaining videos on a consistent schedule.
The vibe is always humorous and entertaining—quick cuts, punchy pacing, well-timed zooms, sound effects and the occasional meme to keep viewers laughing while they learn. To support that style I rely heavily on graphics and animations for B-roll, so you should feel comfortable creating or integrating motion graphics, lower thirds, call-outs and subtle visual jokes.
Typical workflow
• I deliver a folder with A-roll, reference notes and any brand assets every Friday.
• You assemble, colour-grade, clean the audio, add motion graphics, transitions and light SFX.
• First cut is due back by Tuesday; we iterate once or twice, then you deliver the final 4K MP4 plus the editable project file.
Tools
I’m happy with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, but if you prefer DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro that works too—as long as you can hit the same quality benchmarks.
Acceptance criteria
• Runtime usually 8-12 minutes, no dead air.
• Jokes land cleanly, cuts match the comedic pacing.
• Graphics stay on-brand (fonts, colours supplied).
• Audio is balanced, loudness-normalised and free of background hiss.
If you have a reel that shows clever humour, crisp motion graphics and reliable week-to-week delivery, I’d love to see it.
