Weekly Task Scheduler Desktop App

I need a straightforward desktop program whose single purpose is to let me schedule and visualise my week. The emphasis is on task scheduling only—no time-tracking dashboards or reminder pop-ups at this stage—so the interface can stay clean and focused.

Core flow
• Open the app to a Monday-to-Sunday grid
• Add, edit or delete tasks and instantly see them slotted into their chosen day and time block
• Save everything to a lightweight local file or embedded database so my plans persist after closing the program

Tech preferences
I am on Windows, but if you can deliver a cross-platform build through Electron, .NET MAUI, Qt, or a similarly stable framework, that works for me as well. Feel free to propose what you think suits the scope best.

Acceptance criteria
1. Installer or portable executable that launches without extra dependencies.
2. Intuitive weekly view with drag-and-drop or quick edit controls.
3. Data is stored locally and reloads accurately on start-up.
4. Clean, responsive UI—nothing fancy, but no visual glitches.
5. Source code and brief build instructions supplied on delivery.

That is all I need for version one; additional features like time tracking or reminder alerts can wait for a later phase.
