I run a complex System-on-Chip project and reserve about four hours each week for focused progress. During that window I rely on an experienced engineer who can jump straight into SystemVerilog / UVM code and keep our verification flow tight.
The core of the session is SoC-level development, yet every task circles back to solid design-verification practice:
• Testbench development that plugs cleanly into our existing UVM environment
• Live simulation and debugging, spotting corner-case failures as they appear
• Coverage analysis and closure so we meet functional goals with data-driven confidence
Remote pair-programming over a shared workspace works best for me; I’ll have source, waveforms, and spec documents ready before each call so we can spend the full four hours on code and review rather than setup.
Acceptance criteria for each weekly block:
– Updated testbench or RTL checked into the repo with clear commit notes
– Regressions passing on my side after our session
– Coverage reports reflecting the new work and showing measurable improvement
If you’re fluent in Verilog/SystemVerilog and comfortable steering a UVM-based environment at SoC scale, our weekly collaboration should be straightforward and rewarding. I’m ready to start this coming week and will share the NDA and repo access once we confirm the schedule.
