MENZER Corporate Website and Online Shop | Shopware
We are looking for a professional web agency to independently assess our corporate website and the MENZER online shop and develop a concrete, prioritised improvement plan. This will inform our decisions on recommended actions, budget and potential subsequent implementation.
What it is about:
https://www.menzer-tools.com/de, including the associated MENZER online shop.
Corporate website
Brand, product, know-how, company and service pages, including their links to the online shop.
Online shop
Shop entry point, categories, search, product detail pages, cart, registration, customer account and the full checkout process.
Technical platform
Our existing Shopware system. The concept must not be based on switching to a different CMS or platform.
Engagement
Phase 1: Analysis and concept development. Phase 2: Implementation only following a separate decision and commission.
1. Purpose of the engagement
We are not looking for a generic assessment along the lines of “make it more modern”, but a sound basis for decision-making: What should be changed, and where? Why is the change worthwhile? What benefit can we expect, and how can it be implemented within our Shopware system?
2. Objectives and target audiences
The website should present MENZER as a specialist in sanding equipment, dust extraction and abrasives, with a high-quality brand presence. Visitors should be able to understand and select suitable products and system solutions, and buy them in the shop as easily as possible. Brand information, buying advice, order completion and service should be assessed as one coherent user experience.
The primary target audiences are professional users and ambitious DIY enthusiasts. Existing customers seeking repeat purchases, service and information must also be considered. Company and careers content is included, but should not become the focus of a separate recruitment project.
3. Principles of collaboration
Our existing brand identity and MENZER design guidelines form the foundation. We are seeking justified improvements, not a blanket rebranding exercise or a predetermined full website relaunch. Elements that already work well should be explicitly identified and retained wherever possible.
Audit scope and approach
4. Common basis for pricing
Please quote for an overview of the structure of the German-language corporate website and MENZER online shop, plus an in-depth review of 20 representative pages or views: 12 corporate pages and 8 shop pages/views. Three end-to-end purchase journeys and the customer account must also be reviewed. The selection will be agreed at kick-off.
We'll let you know of which pages are required, after first contact.
