I run DwellWell, a home concierge and property-coordination service for busy homeowners on Long Island. We help clients manage home maintenance, repairs, contractors, scheduling, and follow-through through one trusted point of contact.
My current website is live at joindwellwell.com. It is mostly built and contains much of the content and structure I need, so I am not looking to start over unnecessarily. I need an experienced designer to review it with fresh eyes and improve the visual hierarchy, messaging, consistency, mobile presentation, and overall ability to convert visitors into enquiries.
The biggest challenge is that people do not always understand the value of the service immediately. The website and print materials need to communicate within a few seconds:
**Owning a home creates a never-ending list of things to manage. DwellWell takes those tasks off the homeowner’s plate.**
The brand should feel modern, clean, trustworthy, premium, and approachable—not like a generic handyman, contractor, or home-services company.
Scope of Work
1. Existing Website Refinement
Review joindwellwell.com and recommend or design improvements to the existing website, including:
* Homepage layout and messaging
* Clearer explanation of the service and its value
* Stronger visual hierarchy
* Improved typography, spacing, and consistency
* Better calls-to-action
* Mobile responsiveness
* Services, About, and Contact page presentation
* A cohesive look that can carry over into printed materials
Please indicate whether your proposal includes implementing the website changes or providing design mock-ups and specifications only.
2. Coordinated Print Materials
Using the same visual direction established for the website, create:
* **Double-sided flyer**
* **Postcard**
* **Door hanger**
* **Business card**
I already have a business card design that I believe is fairly strong. I am looking for it to be reviewed, refined, and brought into alignment with the rest of the materials—not necessarily redesigned from scratch.
The flyer, postcard, and door hanger should help homeowners recognize the stress and ongoing workload of homeownership while clearly positioning DwellWell as the solution.
Final Deliverables
* Print-ready PDFs
* CMYK color format
* 300 dpi resolution
* Proper bleed and safe margins
* Editable, layered source files
* Preferably editable in Canva or Adobe software
* Web-ready versions where appropriate
* Consistent typography, color palette, illustration style, and imagery across every item
Materials I Will Provide
* Existing logo and brand colors
* Current website
* Core messaging and copy
* Existing flyer concepts
* Existing business card design
* QR code and contact information
* Feedback and direction throughout the project
I am open to thoughtful creative recommendations, but I do not want generic contractor imagery, cliché stock photos, or a complete departure from the brand that has already been developed.
Please include:
* Examples of similar modern, clean branding, website, or print projects
* Your estimated timeline
* The number of revision rounds included
* The software you will use
* Whether website implementation is included
* A clear breakdown of your price
Please begin your proposal with **one specific observation about joindwellwell.com** so I know you reviewed the existing website before applying.
