Website Customer Chat Bot

I want to add a customer-service chat widget to my website that can greet visitors, answer common questions automatically, and route them to a contact form when the bot can’t find a match. The focus for now is on fully automated responses; I don’t need live-agent hand-off or long-term chat history yet, so the build can stay lean and fast.

Key requirements
• Front-end widget that looks good on desktop and mobile browsers
• NLP-driven or rules-based reply engine I can train with my own FAQ list
• Simple dashboard where I can edit questions, answers, and fallback text
• Seamless embedding on any page via one JavaScript snippet
• Clear documentation so I can maintain or expand the bot later

Nice to have
• Hooks or webhooks that could let me add live agents in the future
• Basic analytics showing number of chats, resolved vs. escalated questions

I’m open to your recommended tech stack—popular choices like Node.js, Python (Flask/FastAPI), or serverless functions are all fine as long as they integrate smoothly with a standard HTML/CSS/JS site.
