Website Contact Form Backend Setup

I have a contact form designed on the front-end of my site, but right now it is only cosmetic. I need the backend logic written so visitors can actually fill it out and have their information processed correctly.

Here’s what I expect: the form fields should validate on the server, sanitize input, and then route the data to my preferred destination—whether that’s an email inbox, a database table, or both. After submission, users should see a clean success or error message, and spam prevention (simple CAPTCHA or comparable measure) must be in place.

Please build this with clean, well-commented server-side scripting so I can maintain it later, and deploy it to my existing hosting environment without breaking anything else on the site. If you rely on any frameworks or libraries, let me know the exact versions in your hand-off so I can replicate the setup in staging first.
