I need our web-based platform put through thorough QA with special attention on how it talks to the database. The focus is transaction-level validation, so you will be writing and running targeted SQL queries to confirm that every commit, rollback, and edge-case scenario behaves exactly as designed.

Python comes into play for the automation layer: reusable scripts that spin up data sets, hit the relevant endpoints, and log results in a clean, shareable format. If you already use frameworks such as PyTest or Robot, great—just keep the code readable and well-commented.

I work out of Tampa, Florida, and on-site collaboration several days a week is strongly preferred; being able to drop by the office for quick test cycles or schema walk-throughs will speed things up enormously. Solid communication and an ability to grasp new concepts quickly are just as important as your technical toolkit.

Deliverables
• A documented test plan covering all database transactions
• Python automation scripts with instructions to run and extend
• A concise bug/issue report, prioritised by impact and severity
• Sign-off evidence that critical transactional paths pass under load

If this matches your experience and you can be available in Tampa as needed, let’s talk timelines and start dates.
