I have several PDF reports that explain current and forecasted atmospheric conditions in a technical, research-oriented style. They are written for meteorologists and climate scientists, so every equation, unit, and reference must stay intact while the prose reads naturally in the target language.

The task is to translate each document into five languages—Spanish, French, Arabic, Chinese, and Japanese—while preserving the original page layout and any embedded charts or tables. You are free to use CAT tools or glossary management software, yet the final wording must sound like it was drafted by a native specialist, not a machine. Accuracy in terminology (e.g., isobars, dew-point depression, synoptic scale) is non-negotiable, and consistency across sections matters because these files will later be merged into a comparative study.

Deliverables
• Fully translated files in their original layout, delivered both as editable Word (or InDesign) and print-ready PDF for each language
• A terminology sheet listing any domain-specific choices you made, with references
• A brief note highlighting sections where you had to interpret ambiguous phrasing, so our reviewers can double-check the source

Acceptance criteria
1. No missing figures, captions, or footnotes
2. Units and numeric data copied exactly; decimal and thousand separators adapted to target-language conventions
3. Readability validated by a native scientific reviewer (we will spot-check)

If you have prior experience translating meteorological or broader earth-science content, please mention the project title or publication where your work appears.
