Website & Android App Accessibility Testing | WCAG 2.1/2.2 Compliance Audit

I am looking for a website accessibility testing project where I can evaluate website accessibility through manual and automated testing, document defects, and verify fixes.

Step-by-Step Testing Process

1. Initial Website Assessment
- Review the website structure, pages, navigation, forms, buttons, links, and interactive elements.
- Identify key pages and functionalities to be included in the testing scope.
- Perform an initial accessibility assessment against applicable WCAG 2.1/2.2 criteria.

2. Screen Reader Testing
- Test website functionality using NVDA and other supported screen readers.
- Verify that headings, links, buttons, form fields, labels, roles, and states are announced correctly.
- Identify missing accessible names, incorrect announcements, and screen-reader navigation issues.

3. Keyboard Accessibility Testing
- Test website navigation using only the keyboard, primarily Tab, Shift + Tab, Enter, Space, and arrow keys where appropriate.
- Verify logical focus order, visible focus indicators, keyboard accessibility of interactive elements, and correct focus movement.
- Identify keyboard traps and elements that cannot be accessed or operated using the keyboard.

4. Automated Accessibility Testing
- Run automated accessibility scans using axe DevTools .and CCA for color contasat
- Identify detectable accessibility violations, such as missing labels, certain contrast issues, and invalid ARIA attributes.
- Review automated results manually to validate findings and identify issues that automated tools may not detect.

5. Defect Documentation and Reporting
- Record identified issues in an Excel tracker, including:
- Issue ID and page URL
- Issue description and reproduction steps
- Testing method and applicable WCAG criterion
- Severity or priority
- Expected and actual results
- Screenshots or supporting evidence
- Recommended remediation
- Current status

6. Share Findings with the Development Team
- Prepare a structured accessibility report.
- Explain the identified defects and provide clear recommendations to help developers resolve them.
- Track reported issues through the agreed defect-management process.

7. Regression Testing and Verification
- Retest reported issues after developers implement fixes.
- Verify whether each issue has been resolved and check for possible regressions.
- Update the Excel tracker with the retest date, result, and status, such as Pass, Fail, or Reopened.
- Report any unresolved issues and confirm the final testing results.

Expected Deliverables
- Accessibility testing report
- Excel defect tracker with WCAG references
- Screenshots and reproduction steps
- Automated scan findings
- Regression testing results and final status summary

I am interested in collaborating with a team that values accessibility, usability, and quality assurance. The testing scope and deliverables can be agreed upon before the project begins.
