Role: Photographer / videographer & social media volunteer
I am starting a new joy-filled project to bring happiness and fun to the lives of older people living in carehomes.
Kelly does: Cocktails at Carehomes is a project bringing cocktail (and mocktail) afternoons to older people living in care homes across north London. It's about joy, dignity and a proper night out for people who don't get many of them. We will have music, drinks, chats and a party atmosphere.
I’m looking for a socially minded content creator.
Someone good with photos/videos and editing and being very comfortable on Instagram to help capture the sessions and build a fun and moving Instagram page, whilst also bringing awareness to the rewards of bringing joy to older people.
What you'd do
• Photograph and film our sessions, with residents front and centre
• Edit short, shareable reels and clips
• Help set up and run our Instagram — posting, captions and a consistent look
Time commitment
Light and flexible — roughly one 90-minute session a month to film, plus a little editing around it. Sessions are usually early evening, and we'll always work around you.
What you'll get
Genuinely lovely, human footage for your portfolio or showreel, full credit and tagging on everything we share, a reference, and the good feeling of making older people's day. Students and early-career creatives very welcome.
If this resonates with you, please do get in touch!
