1. Project Overview
We are seeking quotes from freelance graphic designers or design agencies to create a cohesive suite of sticker and pin badges for our new volunteer recognition and reward system. The overarching goal of this program is to acknowledge volunteer milestones while cultivating a pathway for more individual donors.
2. Scope of Work & Deliverables
The designer will be responsible for creating distinct, visually appealing artwork for both sticker badges and physical pin badges that align with our established "Geek" volunteer hierarchy. The deliverables must be print-ready files suitable for manufacturing custom stickers and enamel (or similar style) pins.
The required badge designs are categorized into Milestone Tiers and Special "Pieces of Flare" Pin Awards:
Milestone Tier Badges
• First Shift (Rookie Geek): Design for a "Rookie" badge sticker.
• 50 Hours (Next-Gen Geek): Designs for a Next-Gen Geek badge sticker and a corresponding pin badge.
• 100 Hours (Super Geek): Designs for a Super Geek badge sticker and a corresponding pin badge for a lanyard.
• Staff Recommend (Elite Geek): Design for an Elite Geek tier badge sticker and pin design.
Pin Awards (AKA "Pieces of Flare") These are specialized pins awarded for specific achievements or contributions:
• Platinum Award: For completing special projects or acquiring a corporate device donor.
• Donor Award: For making monthly financial contributions.
• Kramdie Winner Award: For winning a Kramdie award.
• Education Volunteer Award: For volunteering for a class.
• Client Award: For a client who turned into a volunteer, or a volunteer who turned into a client.
Event-Specific Badges
• Geek-a-thon: Design for a Geek-a-thon Badge Sticker.
3. Design Requirements
• Cohesion: All badges should feel like they belong to the same visual family while remaining distinct enough to represent different levels of achievement.
• Format: Final deliverables must include vector files and high-resolution PDFs formatted for standard sticker and pin manufacturers.
• Brand Alignment: Designs must incorporate our brand colors, typography, and general aesthetic (brand guidelines will be provided).
4. Proposed Timeline

• Designer Selected: November 4, 2026
• Kickoff Meeting: November 6, 2026
• First Draft Concepts: November 13, 2026
• Final Files Delivered: November 30, 2026

• Your estimated turnaround time from project kickoff to final delivery.
• Any questions you have regarding the scope.
