Vintage-Style Wedding Video Montage

I have roughly 30 minutes of handheld wedding footage filmed on a phone in pro-res—about 100 separate clips—that I’d like shaped into a single highlight film no longer than four minutes. The look I’m after sits somewhere between home-movie nostalgia and polished cinema: think warm colour grading, gentle film grain, and a storytelling flow that feels organic rather than simply cut-and-pasted.

Audio matters just as much as the visuals. I’d like the soundtrack to start softly romantic and build into something upbeat and celebratory. I can provide licensed tracks if you prefer, or you can suggest options that match this arc. Alongside the music, I have iPhone recordings of the speeches; key excerpts from the vows and toasts should float over the visuals at appropriate moments.

Moments I never want lost: our first dance, the exchange of vows, and candid interactions with family and friends. Everything else is flexible, so feel free to rearrange, trim, or slow-mo as needed to keep the pace tight. Some clips have been provided in slo-mo. I’ve put them in order and removed anything I don’t want included and provided time codes on some I really like.

I’m open to your ideas on transitions—smooth fades, vintage cuts, or any modern flourish that complements the footage. Let me know what you think will work best given the style.

Deliverables
• A 3–4 minute edited film in 4K and 1080p H.264
• A version with baked-in music/speech and a clean version with isolated dialogue for future tweaks
• Colour-graded project file (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve—whatever you edit in)

Acceptance criteria: the three key moments are clearly visible, audio levels are balanced between speeches and music, and the overall mood shifts naturally from romantic to fun without abrupt jumps. I don’t just want a slideshow of all the clips.
