Project title
Build a repeatable short-form video system for property case studies (template + first videos + automation)
Summary
I publish short, anonymised case studies about Australian investment properties — purchase price, current value, and the tax depreciation the owner claimed. The data is identical every time; only the numbers change. I want a system, not one-off videos.
Three parts: a reusable template, the first batch of videos produced from it, and an automation that renders new ones from a spreadsheet row. I have the storyboard, the data structure and the script format already done — I am hiring execution, not concept.
Starting with one paid test video. If it is good, ongoing work follows immediately.
Context
• Format: 40–45 second vertical video, six fixed beats — hook, the property, growth, depreciation, five-year total, call to action.
• Ratios: three outputs from one build — 9:16 (Reels/TikTok), 1:1 (LinkedIn), 16:9 (YouTube).
• Style: dark, typographic, data-led. Animated numbers counting up, a two-segment bar splitting the deduction into its two categories, clean stat cards. Not stock-footage-and-swooshes.
• No property is ever identified. No address, no street number, no owner name. Suburb, property type and configuration only. This is a hard requirement, not a preference.

Scope
Phase 1 — Paid test (this is what you are bidding on)
Deliverables
1. One finished case-study video, 40–45 seconds, in all three aspect ratios.
2. The reusable template file it was built from — After Effects project, or a Creatomate/Shotstack template. Tell me which you would use and why.
3. Burnt-in captions
4. Source files and any fonts or assets used.

Budget
Timeline 5 working days from brief
Note The same test goes to two or three freelancers. Everyone is paid regardless of who I continue with.
Phase 2 — Video production (ongoing, if the test works)
• [4–8] videos per week, each produced from the same template with new numbers and script.
• Fixed price per video across all three ratios. Quote this in your bid.
• Turnaround: 3 working days per video.
• I want the per-video cost to fall as volume rises — propose your own tiering.
Phase 3 — Automation build (separate scope, quote separately)
Build a scenario in Make (or n8n if you argue the case) that:
1. Watches my Google Sheet for rows marked Ready.
2. Blocks the row if consent is missing or a compliance field is inconsistent, and notifies me.
3. Renders all three aspect ratios via the video API, feeding the template from the row’s fields.
4. Saves the files to Google Drive, writes the links back to the sheet, flips the status, and emails me to review.
5. Keeps publishing manual and behind a second, separate scenario. Nothing auto-posts.

Quote this as a separate fixed price. It only proceeds after Phases 1 and 2 are working.

Requirements
Must have
• A portfolio of vertical short-form video with animated data or text on screen. Please link specific pieces, not a showreel.
• Comfortable with templated, data-driven video — you understand the difference between designing one video and building a system that produces fifty.
• Clean typographic motion work. Precise timing and kerning matter more than effects.
• Written English good enough to catch an error in a script.
Nice to have
• Experience with Creatomate, Shotstack, JSON2Video or similar render APIs.
• Make or n8n experience (relevant to Phase 3).
• Any exposure to Australian property or finance content.

Not required: you do not need to understand Australian tax. Every number is supplied and locked. But you must be willing to work under the rules below.
The hard rules
These are non-negotiable, and I will ask you to confirm you have read them.
1. Never change a number. Not to round it, not to make it fit the layout, not to make it look better. If a figure does not fit, the layout changes, not the figure.
2. Never add a claim. No “you could get $X back”, no percentages I did not supply, no superlatives about returns. The script is delivered word for word.
3. Nothing that identifies a property. No address, no street sign, no letterbox, no recognisable façade, no map pin, no real listing photo. Generic or licensed imagery only.
4. The disclaimer appears on the final frame and in the caption file, every time, unedited.
5. Deliver source files, not just exports. I need to be able to hand the project to someone else.
Rights
Full commercial rights to all delivered work transfer to me on payment, including source files and templates. Any stock or font licences must be commercially cleared and listed in the handover, with cost included in your quote.
How to bid
I get a lot of copy-paste bids and I skip all of them. To be considered, your bid must include:
1. The word KELLYVILLE as the first word of your bid, so I know you read this.
2. Two links to vertical short-form video you personally made with animated numbers or data on screen. Tell me what you did on each.
3. Which tool you would build the template in, and one sentence on why — given the goal is producing fifty of these from a spreadsheet, not one.
4. Your fixed price for Phase 1, your per-video price for Phase 2, and your rough range for Phase 3.
5. One question about the project. If you do not have one, you have not read it closely enough.

Bids that do not include all five get archived without a reply. I reply to every bid that does, within 48 hours.
