# Custom PCB Design for Camera Smart Glasses
I am looking for an experienced **embedded hardware/PCB designer or engineering firm** to design a complete PCB for camera-equipped smart glasses capable of **still photo capture and live video streaming**.
## SoC
The designer can select the most suitable SoC from:
* **Allwinner V821**
* **Rockchip RV1103**
* **Rockchip RV1106**
Please recommend the best option based on **camera/MIPI support, power consumption, thermals, USB capabilities, software/SDK support, availability, and PCB complexity**.
Reference designs that may be used include **LicheeRV Nano, Luckfox Pico Mini, and Avaota F2**.
## Core Requirements
* Single onboard **Sony IMX or equivalent camera**, minimum 1080p
* MIPI CSI-2 camera interface
* Still photo capture + live video streaming
* USB connection to an **Android/iPhone host application**
* USB must be implemented appropriately for reliable video/data transfer
* UART debug interface
* SPI, I²C and GPIO expansion/test pads
* Boot storage: SPI Flash/eMMC/microSD as appropriate
* Status LED, user button, reset and programming/debug interfaces
* Optional Wi-Fi/Bluetooth expansion pads if space/power permits
* Low-power and thermally suitable for a wearable device
## PCB Design
Design a **4-layer or higher multilayer PCB**, with proper:
* MIPI CSI-2 and USB differential routing
* Controlled impedance
* Differential-pair length/skew matching
* Continuous reference/return paths
* High-speed via optimization
* Power/ground plane design
* Decoupling and power integrity
* EMI/EMC-conscious layout
The PCB should be designed for manufacturing and follow the selected manufacturer's impedance/stack-up requirements.
## Scope of Work
1. Evaluate the three SoCs and recommend one.
2. Analyze the relevant reference design.
3. Create the system block diagram.
4. Design the complete schematic.
5. Create/verify symbols and footprints.
6. Design the multilayer PCB.
7. Route and verify MIPI CSI-2, USB and other interfaces.
8. Perform ERC/DRC and design review.
9. Generate manufacturing files.
10. Support prototype bring-up/debugging if required.
## Deliverables
* Complete **KiCad/Altium/EasyEDA source files**
* Schematic
* PCB layout
* Gerbers + drill files
* BOM with manufacturer part numbers and alternates
* Pick-and-place/assembly files
* PCB stack-up and impedance requirements
* 3D STEP model
* ERC/DRC reports
* Basic design documentation
* Online design-review session
## Acceptance Criteria
The prototype should:
* Boot reliably
* Initialize the camera
* Enumerate/connect over USB
* Support communication with an Android/iPhone host
* Stream **at least 720p30**
* Support still-image capture
* Operate without significant thermal issues
* Have no obvious EMI/EMC or signal-integrity issues in a basic pre-scan
## Please Include in Your Proposal
* Relevant PCB/high-speed design experience
* Previous **MIPI CSI-2 / camera** projects
* Experience with **Allwinner/Rockchip SoCs**
* Examples of similar work
* Preferred design software
* Estimated **cost and timeline**
* Whether you can support **prototype bring-up and debugging**
* Whether complete source files will be provided at project completion
