Video Editor & Static Storycard Designer – 250 Educational Videos | 10 Weeks

We are looking for an experienced, efficient, and reliable Video Editor to support our team in producing approximately 250 professional educational videos over a 10-week period.

We already have professionally designed video templates, an established visual style, and an existing production team.

Your responsibility will be to edit and optimize the recordings, integrate them into our templates, and create synchronized static storycards that visually support the educational content.

Project Details

- Volume: Approximately 250 videos
- Video length: Mostly 3–10 minutes, with some very short clips
- Project duration: Approximately 10 weeks
- Expected productivity: Approximately 5-6 completed videos per working day, depending on complexity
- Language: German educational content
- Templates: Already designed and available
- Support: An experienced production team available for questions, feedback, and coordination

Main Responsibilities

1. Video Editing

- Edit raw video recordings
- Remove mistakes, unnecessary pauses, and unwanted sections
- Optimize audio, image quality, and overall presentation
- Ensure professional and consistent results

2. Template Integration

- Integrate edited videos into our existing templates
- Follow established design guidelines
- Maintain a consistent visual appearance across all videos

3. Static Storycard Creation

- Understand the content of each video
- Create visually appropriate static storycards using text, icons, graphics, and images
- Synchronize storycard changes with the spoken content
- Present key messages clearly and professionally
- Follow our existing visual style

Important: The storycards are static. Complex animations or advanced motion graphics are not required. The focus is on efficient production, visual clarity, and accurate synchronization.

4. Finalization

- Export completed videos according to our specifications
- Deliver editable project files
- Implement feedback and corrections
- Maintain an organized and reliable production workflow

Requirements

- Proven experience in professional video editing
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable software
- Ability to create clean, visually appealing static graphics and storycards
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with existing video templates
- Ability to work efficiently with German-language content, including transcripts or translation tools where appropriate
- Reliable availability throughout the project
