Video Editor Needed

About the Project

Simbott Technologies is a startup working in VR/AR-based industrial simulation and training solutions for industries such as welding, automotive, defence, railways, aerospace and skill development.

We are looking for a creative Video Editor who can transform our raw product footage into premium, modern and engaging technology videos.

What You’ll Work On
Editing raw footage of our welding simulator and industrial training solutions
Creating 15-sec, 30-sec and 1-minute videos
Strong focus on product and brand shots
Editing different welding processes such as GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, Plasma and Oxyfuel
Adding voice-over and syncing visuals with narration
Green-screen removal and basic compositing
Colour correction and cinematic look
Smooth transitions, speed ramps and controlled cuts
Adding minimal, professional text/USP overlays
Using appropriate industrial/technology sound effects and background music
Creating content suitable for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and other digital platforms
Editing Style We’re Looking For

We prefer:

Fast but controlled editing
Clean visual storytelling
Strong opening hook in the first 2–3 seconds
Professional typography and minimal graphics
Realistic and subtle effects
Industrial/technology feel

Avoid: excessive transitions, generic corporate templates, slideshow-style editing or overuse of effects.

Experience in product, technology, industrial or corporate video editing
Strong knowledge of Premiere Pro / After Effects / DaVinci Resolve
Good understanding of pacing, storytelling and sound design
Ability to work with raw footage and create a polished final video
Creative eye for framing, transitions and visual composition
Ability to follow references and brand guidelines
Experience with VFX/green-screen work is an advantage
