We are looking for a reliable Video Editor / Motion Designer for a German-language e-learning project with potential for long-term collaboration.
About the project
I am developing a self-paced German language course for Spanish-speaking adult learners.
The course combines structured PDF learning portfolios, audio lessons and short animated learning videos with recurring 2D tutor characters.
Several lessons and videos have already been produced, so the visual style and production system are already established. This is not a project where you need to create a visual concept from scratch.
What you will receive
You will receive:
• detailed video scripts/storyboards
• professional voice recordings
• existing animated 2D tutor characters
• existing graphic assets and animations
• finished videos as direct visual references
Your task is to turn the scripts and recordings into finished educational videos while faithfully reproducing the existing visual and animation style.
Typical tasks
• Video editing and post-production
• Synchronizing voice recordings
• Animating existing 2D tutor characters
• Simple character movements and facial/mouth animation
• Integrating graphics, objects and illustrations
• Text animations and visual highlights
• Simple educational/didactic animations
• Synchronizing visuals with narration
• Maintaining consistency with existing videos
• Final editing and export
The videos are generally short, approximately 1–4 minutes.
What we are looking for
Experience with:
• Motion Graphics
• 2D Character Animation
• E-learning / Educational Videos
• Explainer Videos
• Video Editing / Post-production
Experience with After Effects, Premiere Pro, Animate, Moho or comparable software is welcome.
We are particularly looking for someone who is:
• reliable and detail-oriented
• comfortable working from detailed scripts
• able to reproduce an established visual style
• experienced in working with existing characters/assets
• communicative and responsive
• interested in a potential long-term collaboration
German or Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required. The ability to work accurately from detailed scripts and reproduce the existing animation style is more important.
How we would like to start
We would like to begin with one paid pilot module.
This allows both sides to evaluate the workflow and collaboration. If the pilot works well, there is potential for continued work on the remaining A1.1 lessons and potentially further course levels.
Please include in your proposal
1. A short introduction about yourself and your relevant experience.
2. 2–4 examples of comparable work, especially e-learning, explainer videos, motion graphics or 2D character animation.
3. Your preferred rate – hourly or per finished video/module.
4. Your current availability.
