Hi! I’m starting a new hair-focused YouTube/Instagram channel and I’m looking for someone who can do simple, clean video editing on an ongoing basis if the initial test works well.
My raw videos will generally be about 8–15 minutes long and are filmed vertically with no talking. The natural audio is important—hair brushing, hair movement, product application, etc.—so I do NOT want music added.
For each raw video, I’d be looking for:
• One clean long-form edit, removing obvious dead space, mistakes, distracting noises/moments, etc., while keeping the relaxed natural pacing and original audio. I don’t need flashy transitions, effects or heavy editing.
• Approximately 3–5 short vertical clips (about 15–60 seconds each) taken from the same footage for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. These would highlight visually interesting moments such as brushing, hair movement, hair flips, putting hair up/taking it down, etc.
The goal is very natural, relaxing, visually appealing hair content rather than a highly produced video.
Could you let me know what you would charge per 8–15 minute raw video for the long-form edit + 3–5 short clips? I’m currently testing the concept, but if it works well I would potentially have ongoing videos to edit.
