We're fIDent, an early-stage fintech backed by NUS and Ripple, building alternative credit scoring for gig workers in Southeast Asia. Millions of ride-hail drivers, delivery riders and freelancers are shut out of credit because they lack a traditional credit history, even though their earnings and spending tell a clear story about how reliable they are. fIDent reads that everyday financial and work behaviour and turns it into a fair score.

We're looking for an experienced video editor and motion designer (or a small team) to produce our flagship brand film along with a set of shorter pieces built from it. This video will be shown to investors, partners and banks, and will anchor our website and social channels, so we care about craft and storytelling far more than speed.

The main deliverable is a 2 to 2.5 minute brand film. It should open on the gig worker's reality, the long shifts and the moment a loan application gets rejected, then shift into how fIDent sees them differently, explain the product clearly through custom animation, and land on a hopeful outcome with our call to action. The tone we want is warm, credible and cinematic, in the spirit of brand films from Stripe, Wise or Monzo. No template packs and no generic stock montages.

From that film, we'd also like a 60 second version for pitch decks and our website, three 15 to 30 second vertical cutdowns for Reels, TikTok and Shorts (each built around a different hook), and one 1:1 cut for LinkedIn.

Your scope would cover script refinement (we'll provide a draft script and product narrative, and we'd value your input on pacing and structure), a storyboard or style frames for our approval before animation begins, custom 2D motion graphics and illustrated sequences, a professional English voiceover with a Southeast Asian or neutral international accent (you source and cast it, we approve from two or three options), licensed music, sound design and mixing, colour grading, and burned-in subtitles plus SRT files.

We'll provide our logo, brand colours and fonts, product screen recordings, a draft script, and any raw footage we have [describe what you have]. If our footage is thin, tell us how you'd fill the gap, whether through illustration, licensed stock that doesn't feel like stock, or a short shoot.

How we'll work: a kickoff call, then style frames and storyboard for approval, then a first full cut of the brand film, then up to three revision rounds, then cutdowns, then final delivery. We'd like to hear from you weekly with progress.

To apply, please share three or more portfolio pieces you've produced end to end, ideally brand films or explainers with custom motion graphics for startups or fintech. Tell us which part of each you personally handled, your proposed timeline, your tool stack (After Effects, Premiere, DaVinci, etc.), and a two or three sentence pitch for how you'd approach our story. Start your application with the words "gig worker" so we know you read the brief.
