Video Editing Tutor Needed

I need a patient tutor who can take me from absolute beginner to producing polished “destination-style” videos for my job. I have Adobe Premiere Pro installed and ready, yet I’m open to other professional tools if you feel they suit a newcomer better.

Either an online screen-share format or meeting in person (I can travel up to 250 miles from central Wisconsin) works for me; the key is clear, English-only instruction and hands-on practice.

By the end of our time together I want to feel confident with:
• Basic editing techniques (importing, cutting, arranging, audio balance)
• Advanced transitions and effects that give travel pieces energy
• Color correction and grading for a consistent, professional look

Please tell me about your direct experience teaching these skills and, if possible, share a quick example of a travel or destination video you’ve guided a student through. My goal is to complete a short, fully edited showcase piece during our lessons, so proposed lesson counts, pacing, and any remote-work tools you rely on would be helpful to know up front.
