I’m looking for a reliable freelancer who can step in as my day-to-day personal assistant and keep my small business life running smoothly. Most of your time will go into the classic admin corner—updating spreadsheets, preparing simple documents and slide decks, and digging up quick bits of online research whenever I need background on a topic or a competitor. You’ll also have full access to my calendar, so you’ll be arranging meetings, handling reschedules, and sending friendly reminders to make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
Inbox zero is the goal every evening. I’ll forward or tag emails that need a response; you’ll draft replies, flag priorities for me, and archive everything else. We’ll stay in touch primarily through instant messaging (Slack/WhatsApp—whatever you’re comfortable with for rapid back-and-forth). If something is truly urgent, expect the occasional call, but chat will be our main line.
A quick recap of what success looks like here:
• Clean, accurate data entry and files that match the naming conventions I provide.
• A calendar that’s always up to date, with upcoming commitments confirmed 24 hours in advance.
• An email dashboard at the end of each day that tells me what’s handled, what’s waiting on me, and what’s scheduled for follow-up.
• Research notes that cite sources and highlight the key takeaways in plain language.
The workload will start at about 10 hours a week and may grow if we’re a good fit. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and quick on chat, I’d love to hear how you can make my workflow easier and more efficient.
