Verde Canyon Offline Tour Guide App

I’m creating a self-guided, two-hour tour that visitors can enjoy even when they have no signal, so every asset—audio tracks, video clips, map tiles, and imagery—must be packaged inside the app bundle and run 100 % offline once the first download completes.

Core experience
• As soon as the phone’s GPS detects that a traveler has reached a designated point, the matching chapter should start automatically.
• Users can still tap Play or Pause at any time, scrub the timeline, or replay earlier chapters if they wish.
• An interactive map (shown with the device’s live position) remains available offline and lets users jump to any stop visually.
• Short quizzes or checkpoint questions pop up at selected locations to keep people engaged and let them “unlock” fun facts before moving on.

Key build notes
– I need native binaries for both iOS and Android, ready for App Store / Google Play submission. A shared-code solution such as Flutter or React Native is fine if it keeps maintenance simple while still giving smooth video playback and GPS accuracy.
– Please implement on-device media caching only for progress tracking; no external streaming or calls after installation.
– GPS handling should tolerate urban canyons: snap to the nearest waypoint if accuracy drops, then resume normal tracking.
– All map assets must reside locally—Mapbox offline style packs, MBTiles, or similar.
– Quizzes can save scores locally; no account system is required.
