Venezuela Breaking News Cameraman & Fixer

I am heading to Venezuela for a fast-moving breaking-news assignment and need a versatile local partner who can operate as both cameraman and fixer from day one. The story will unfold live, so you must be comfortable running full-broadcast workflows on the fly—think ENG shoulder camera, wireless audio, LiveU pack or equivalent, and a solid grasp of satellite or bonded-cellular uplinks.

Your role goes beyond shooting. I will rely on you to:
• Supply and transport all production gear—HD camera, tripod, lights, mics, IFB, backups, everything needed for live hits.
• Secure locations, permits, and safe access in real time while maintaining situational awareness.
• Line up on-the-ground interviews and coordinate local transport, crews, and last-minute logistics.
• Deliver a clean, stable live signal plus a recorded safety copy for post.

Acceptance criteria
• Reliable HD 1080i/50 or 60 live feed with synced audio.
• At least two redundant connectivity options tested on site.
• Raw ISO files transferred to our cloud within six hours of wrap.
• Basic English communication on comms during live segments.
