Commission-Based Vendor Acquisition Partner – India
About BookMyHalwai
BookMyHalwai.com, a project of Vyasa Vittam Private Limited, is a digital marketplace connecting customers with halwais, caterers and other wedding and event-service professionals.
We are looking for independent Vendor Acquisition Partners across India who can identify, approach and onboard genuine event-service vendors onto our platform.
This is a performance-based freelance opportunity. There is no fixed salary or guaranteed monthly payment. Freelancers will earn recurring commission when customers successfully book their onboarded vendors through BookMyHalwai.
Vendor Categories
You may onboard:
• Halwais and caterers
• Banquet halls and event venues
• Decorators and tent houses
• Wedding planners
• Photographers and videographers
• DJs, musicians and artists
• Makeup and mehendi artists
• Choreographers and anchors
• Pandits and religious-service providers
• Return-gift and event-supply vendors
• Other genuine wedding and event professionals
Key Responsibilities
• Research and identify suitable vendors in your city or assigned market
• Obtain vendor contact information ethically through local networks, public business listings, social media, references and market visits
• Contact vendors through calls, WhatsApp, email or personal meetings
• Explain BookMyHalwai’s platform, benefits and onboarding process
• Persuade interested vendors to register on the platform
• Assist vendors in completing their profiles and uploading accurate service details, photographs, menus, pricing and business information
• Coordinate with the BookMyHalwai team for verification and profile activation
• Maintain an accurate tracker of vendors contacted, follow-ups and onboarding status
• Build and maintain a professional relationship with onboarded vendors
Commission Structure
• BookMyHalwai normally earns a platform fee of 5% on a successfully completed booking.
• The freelancer will receive 20% of the net platform commission actually received by BookMyHalwai from a vendor personally introduced and successfully onboarded by that freelancer.
• At the standard 5% platform fee, the freelancer’s share equals 1% of the total booking value.
Example:
For a successfully completed booking worth ₹1,00,000:
• BookMyHalwai platform fee at 5%: ₹5,000
• Freelancer’s share at 20% of the platform fee: ₹1,000
Commission will become payable only after:
1. The vendor has been attributed to the freelancer and successfully verified on the platform.
2. The customer’s booking has been completed.
3. BookMyHalwai has received and retained its platform fee.
4. The transaction is not cancelled, refunded, disputed or charged back.
Revenue sharing will apply to eligible bookings completed within 12 months of the vendor’s profile activation. A monthly statement of eligible transactions and commission will be maintained for transparency.
Freelancers who also generate genuine customer bookings may qualify for an additional performance incentive under separately agreed terms.
Important Conditions
• This is an independent freelance engagement, not an employment position.
• There is no fixed salary, retainer or guaranteed income.
• Earnings depend entirely on successful vendor onboarding and actual completed bookings.
• Duplicate, fake, incomplete or unverifiable vendor profiles will not qualify.
• The vendor must be a new lead and must not already exist in our database.
• Freelancers must register every lead through the designated referral code or tracking process.
• Freelancers must not collect money from vendors or customers on behalf of BookMyHalwai.
• No false promises, misleading claims or unauthorised commitments may be made.
• All payments will be processed according to the agreed contract and the freelancer platform’s applicable payment rules.

Initial Pilot
Selected freelancers will begin with a defined city or territory. The initial objective will be to onboard at least 10 genuine, complete and verified vendors. High-performing partners may receive additional cities, vendor categories and leadership opportunities.
