Software Developer Required – Vehicle Movement & Loading Management System
We require an experienced software developer/team to develop a centralized vehicle movement and loading management application operating across three locations.
Basic Workflow
Vehicle Entry → Loading Point → Vehicle Exit
At each location, an operator will use a device to enter/update the vehicle status. All data must be centralized and visible to an authorized controlling user.
Information to be Captured
At Entry:
* Vehicle Registration Number
* Vehicle Type
* Driver Name/ID
* Driver Contact/identification details, if required
* Entry Date & Time (automatic)
* Purpose/Load details, if required
* Unique Vehicle/Transaction ID
At Loading Point:
* Vehicle identification
* Loading status
* Material/load details, as applicable
* Loading completion date & time (automatic)
* Operator/user ID
At Exit:
* Vehicle identification
* Exit date & time (automatic)
* Final status
* Complete movement history
Central Dashboard
The controlling user should be able to view:
* Vehicles currently inside
* Vehicles awaiting loading
* Loading completed
* Vehicles exited
* Complete vehicle-wise history
* Search/filter by vehicle, date and status
* Basic report generation/export
Connectivity & Architecture
The application must NOT depend on civil/public Internet.
The final system may operate through either:
* Windows-based application connected through a private LAN, OR
* Android/mobile application connected through a private WiMAX/network
However, hardware/network infrastructure is NOT part of the present requirement. We currently require only the software solution, with the architecture designed so LAN/WiMAX and other hardware can be integrated later.
Development Requirements
The developer is expected to provide:
1. SDLC documentation
2. System architecture/design
3. Detailed workflow/flowchart covering Entry → Loading → Exit
4. Database design/schema
5. UI/UX design
6. Application development
7. Centralized database/server solution
8. User authentication and access control
9. Data validation and audit/history
10. Testing and debugging
11. Deployment documentation
12. Complete source code
Important
The solution should be simple, fast, reliable and scalable, with the ability to integrate future hardware such as scanners, RFID, cameras or other identification devices.
Please include in your proposal:
* Similar projects developed
* Proposed technology stack
* Development timeline
* Cost
* Approach for operating without public Internet
* Approach for future LAN/WiMAX and hardware integration
