I want to take our reverse-logistics and electronics-reuse operations through Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) certification so we can issue tradable carbon credits. My immediate priority is the full certification and validation cycle—baseline calculations, project description (PDD), third-party validation, registry listing, and credit issuance.
Your role is to steer the entire process: translate our ITAD and recycling data into defensible GHG reductions, prepare every document Verra requires, liaise with the validator, and keep the timeline on track until the credits appear in the VCS registry. Experience with comparable standards such as Gold Standard or CAR is welcome, but proven VCS success is essential.
Because we work on an approval-based model, the service fee is released once the VCS validator signs off and the credits are formally issued. If that structure works for you, I’d like to build a long-term partnership that can later expand into sustainability reporting, government grants, RFPs, and other carbon or supply-chain projects.
Key deliverables and acceptance criteria
• Feasibility memo confirming our project’s eligibility under VCS methodology
• Complete, validator-ready Project Design Document with supporting calculations and evidence
• All responses to validator and Verra registry queries until approval
• Final confirmation of credit issuance in the Verra registry
Please share the VCS projects you have shepherded to issuance, your typical timeline, and any specialised tools (e.g., ISO 14064-1 models, LCA software) you rely on. Once I review your track record, we can outline milestones and move forward.
