VB.NET WinForms Patch Development

I need a developer to add new features to my existing VB.NET WinForms application. The primary task is to integrate the application with various APIs and web services.

Key Requirements:
- Work with legacy code to implement new integration features
- Ensure seamless connection and data exchange with external APIs/web services
- Maintain application stability and performance during the integration process

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in VB.NET and WinForms
- Experience with integrating APIs/web services
- Strong understanding of legacy code and how to work with it
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the patch development

The status:
- Legacy code lives on local machine (and can be accessible from the outside)
- The Sub in question does SQL to old ERP. This Sub needs replacement: API call to new ERP
- The VB code to call new ERP is already done and tested
- The draft of this new Sub is done

The dev should:
- investigate legacy code, especially the Sub in question
- integrate, and possibly modify, new proposed Sub
- work with person on site to test the performance
