Vancouver Canada Auto Shop Permit Application

I am an interior designer and my client operate a car repair and maintenance facility in Vancouver that handles general repairs, specialized repairs, and routine maintenance. The space already has a full set of layout drawings from the architect who worked on the building complex; however, I now need a complete permit package prepared for the specific units that my client is modifying. We need a full set of drawing compliant to City of Vancouver permit requirement. The client is in a rush to move into new address. Must be a freelancer who is able to meet via zoom meeting for discussions or even better able to meet on site in south Vancouver to do measurements.

Also this is rushed order so client require an experienced drafter familiar with Vancouver requirements so as to eliminate back and forth with the city and delays in obtaining the approval.

Here’s what I need from you:

• Review the part of the architect plans relevent to the auto shop client's unit and redraw relevent info to meet current City of Vancouver's requirement for change of use and renovation permit building permit. Client is looking to add 3 lifts, 1 ramp, a few tire machine, and an reception/office area.
• Compile all supporting documents—code compliance summary, occupant load, exit calculations, mechanical / electrical schedules, energy checklist, and any other items the City typically requests for an auto-repair occupancy.
• Fill out and electronically lodge the permit application, then track it through intake and any subsequent Plan Check comments until the application is accepted for issuance.
• Keep me informed of any City feedback and provide quick revisions so we don’t lose our place in the queue.
• Deliver the final stamped (if needed) PDF set, confirmation of successful submission, and final city approval.

Payments are made only once final city approval is received.
