I have pushed several live files from Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks into our own application and now need a sharp Australian accountant-bookkeeper to sanity-check the results.
Here is what I am looking for you to do:
• General bookkeeping review – walk through the imported ledgers and make sure every opening balance, contact, item and bank feed has landed in the right place.
• Tax tasks – confirm that GST is allocated correctly, BAS totals line up, and TPAR data is complete.
• Financial reporting – compare P&L, balance sheet, depreciation schedules and any custom reports our tool produces against what each source system shows.
Specific scenarios I need validated include:
– Transaction reconciliation accuracy, ending balances match to the cent
– BAS & P&L figures identical to the originals
– Receipts uploaded through our mobile capture appear against the correct expense accounts
– TPAR information populates ready for lodgement
– Depreciation schedules carried forward with correct written-down values
Simply note any discrepancies, why they occurred and what fix you recommend. A short findings document or annotated spreadsheet is fine; I care more about clarity than presentation.
You’ll need solid, current knowledge of Australian compliance rules plus hands-on experience inside all three platforms. If that describes you, let me know how soon you can start and roughly how many hours you expect this first pass to take.
