About the Role
At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a UX/UI Designer to create intuitive, visually polished, and high-performing digital experiences across web and mobile products.
This is more than a visual design role. You’ll own the design process from user research and UX strategy through wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity UI design, design systems, and developer handoff.
You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, QA, and leadership to understand user problems and translate them into digital experiences that are easy to use, scalable, accessible, and aligned with business objectives.

What You’ll Own
User Research & UX Strategy

Conduct user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and behavioral analysis

Identify user needs, pain points, and friction across digital experiences

Translate research into:

Personas

User journeys

User flows

Information architecture

Wireframes

Use behavioral and analytics tools such as:

Hotjar

FullStory

Google Analytics

Combine qualitative and quantitative insights to identify UX opportunities

Recommend improvements based on user behavior, research, and product goals

Wireframing & Prototyping

Create low-fidelity wireframes to validate concepts and workflows

Build interactive prototypes for usability testing and stakeholder review

Develop high-fidelity product mockups using:

Figma

Adobe XD

Sketch

Rapidly iterate based on:

User testing

Stakeholder feedback

QA findings

Clearly communicate interaction patterns and intended product behavior

Move concepts efficiently from early exploration to production-ready design

UI & Product Design

Design clean, modern, and user-friendly interfaces

Create responsive experiences across:

Desktop

Tablet

Mobile

Balance usability, aesthetics, accessibility, and business objectives

Design user flows and conversion paths that minimize friction

Apply strong visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, and layout principles

Ensure interfaces are visually polished and production-ready

Maintain consistency across features and product experiences

Design Systems & Scalability

Build and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries

Establish consistent standards for:

Typography

Color

Spacing

Layouts

Components

Interaction patterns

Create reusable components that improve design and development efficiency

Maintain organized design files, assets, specifications, and documentation

Ensure consistency across products, features, and platforms

Evolve design systems as product requirements grow

Accessibility & Usability

Apply WCAG accessibility standards throughout the design process

Consider:

Contrast

Readability

Keyboard accessibility

Responsiveness

Overall usability

Conduct usability reviews

Identify opportunities to simplify complex workflows

Incorporate accessibility into designs from the beginning rather than treating it as a final check

Product & Engineering Collaboration

Work closely with:

Participate in sprint planning, product discussions, and feature prioritization

Collaborate with engineering throughout implementation rather than only at handoff

Deliver developer-ready designs using:

Provide clear specifications, assets, and interaction documentation

Review implemented designs

Identify and resolve inconsistencies before release

Help ensure the final product accurately reflects the intended user experience

Requirements

2+ years of professional UX/UI or Product Design experience

Strong portfolio demonstrating:

UX problem-solving

UI craftsmanship

Responsive design

Product design thinking

Advanced proficiency with:

Figma

Adobe XD

Sketch

Experience creating:

User flows

Wireframes

Interactive prototypes

High-fidelity interfaces

Responsive layouts

Design systems

Strong understanding of:

UX and usability principles

Interaction design

Accessibility

Responsive design

Mobile-first design

Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Ability to clearly explain and defend design decisions

Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote product environment

You’ll collaborate closely with Product and Engineering during sprint execution, incorporate feedback from usability testing and QA, and prepare developer-ready designs with clear specifications and interaction details.
You’ll also review implemented features to ensure the final experience maintains the intended design quality and consistency.
