I’m looking for an experienced technical writer who can turn our product knowledge into a clear, user-friendly manual. The task focuses purely on writing and editing; design work is already handled in-house, so you can concentrate on structure, flow, and accuracy.
Scope of work
Our engineers will supply raw specifications, screenshots, and a brief feature outline. Your job is to translate that material into a complete set of user guides that walk non-technical customers through installation, configuration, daily use, and basic troubleshooting.
Acceptance criteria
• A logically ordered manual (Word or Google Docs) ready for layout
• Language pitched to an end-user audience—concise, active voice, free of jargon
• Consistent terminology and style throughout, following the template I’ll provide
• At least one revision cycle after my internal review
If you’ve produced similar guides before and can share a sample, I’d love to see it so we can get started right away.
