US Trucking Insurance Specialist

I’m expanding our transportation insurance desk and need a seasoned specialist who already understands the moving parts of a trucking portfolio. Day to day you’ll take full ownership of three core functions: processing new and ongoing claims, keeping every policy touch-point current, and recording the related accounting entries so our books match the carrier statements down to the penny.

Because our agency runs on Vertafore, you must be comfortable navigating that platform for submissions, endorsements, loss runs, and financial reconciliations. If you can show previous results inside Vertafore—whether through screenshots, reports, or references—that will fast-track your application. Familiarity with additional systems is welcome, but Vertafore fluency is non-negotiable.

The role is fully remote yet limited to professionals based in the United States so you can work comfortably with domestic carrier guidelines, DOT requirements, and time zones. Expect steady weekly volume, a collaborative Slack channel for quick questions, and clear procedures for authority levels and escalation.
